RACC was haunted by Halloween revelers.
Halloween! The time of spooks and scares, which this year included clowns threatening to purge us all. The best part of the day is the chance to put on a costume, and on October 31, there were many around RACC’s campus. For Halloween, the Student Government Association sponsored a Halloween costume contest in the Ravens’ Lounge. Many students arrived to show off their creativity and earn free candy.
Among them was Daniel Faudree, a secondary education transfer. He dressed up as Ezio Auditore of the Assassin’s Creed video game franchise. His faithful rendition came with a hood and cape. When asked why he chose the character, he stated that when he saw the costume, it was love at first sight.
There were two couples dressed in collaborative costumes.
The first was Nick Galiano of Adamstown and Zanaib Young of Reading. The couple was dressed as Finn and The Huntress respectively, from the Adventure Time animated series. They reported that they both love the show and the characters they were portraying. They were inspired by an internet image that they saw of the two characters.
The other paired revelers were Kevin Brodie and Emily Wyatt, who opted for the fear—or at least laughs—inspired by the counter-culture. The two went as a hippy couple from the 1970s. Their costumes were very flavorful.
